Formed McGuinness Flint in 1970 by former bassist and guitarist with Manfred Mann, and Hughie Flint, former drummer with John Mayall; plus vocalist and keyboard player Dennis Coulson, and singer-songwriters Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle who first started playing together in 1959. became serious about music in the mid-60's after relocating to the US West coast where he met Gordon Lightfoot who put up the money for his first demo recordings.
In the early ‘80s Kearney joined CHINA with fellow Canadians Bill King and Danny McBride for one album on CBS Records. Currently living in San Diego

Chris Rawlings, b. Montreal. Became mainstay of Montreal folk scene before moving to Toronto in the early 90s. Played with Jean Carignan & Gilles Losier in early 70s; Anna McGarrigle, Wade Hemsworth, Cathy Fink & Lenny Solomon.

The Toronto-based group was formed in 1969 by its principal members, Myles Cohen and Lenny Solomon and by 1972 was signed to GRT Records. However, it was after transferring to Columbia Records in 1974 that the group found success
At the 1976 Juno Awards, the group won in the category of Most Promising Group. However, disappointing sales of their second album led to the group's demise in the mid-1970s. Cohen and Solomon since released various separate music projects.

He studied broadcasting and became a set designer and camera-man for CKWS-TV in Kingston, Ontario as well as cameraman on the 1988 Calgary Oympics, and wrote/produced the children's TV show The Corner Shop. He eventually settled in Gananoque, Ontario where he is chairman of events for the Festival Of The Islands.

Townshend recruited Newman, a pipe-smoking GPO telephone engineer whom he had known at art school, to play keyboards and Jimmy McCulloch, a 15-year-old Glaswegian guitarist, who later played in Paul McCartney’s Wings. Townshend himself played bass, under the name Bijou Drains, on their only album, Hollywood Dream.

Started Lick'n Stick 1971.  backing band for Bo Diddley at the El Mocambo, 1972 became good friends did lotsa work together. Classic Story: Jamming with Dylan: met Bob Dylan at one of James' Toronto club performances. Dylan decided to play with James that night, and backed James for two hours, without being identified, instead being introduced by James as "some hitchhiker from Vancouver. Was honoured with a Maple Blues Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012

Frank's Bandstand (1964-65) was the Halifax segment of the Music Hop series on CBC TV. Produced by Mannie Pitson (Don Messer & Singalong) Music director Brian Ahern (Anne Murray producer). Host - Frank Cameron
Anne Murray was a regular guest, in those days (1965-1966) she taught gym classes in Springhill, Nova Scotia, and would drive to Halifax to tape the shows. Music Hop was hosted by Alex Trebek (1963-1964) Dave Mickie Marsden (1964-1967)

The band also performed as the "Nova Scotians".

written by Bobby Freeman and recorded by him in 1958. It reached number No. 5 on the United States Billboard Top 100 Sides pop chart and No. 2 on the Billboard R&Bchart. Cliff Richard and the Shadows' version of the song reached No. 2 in the United Kingdom in 1962, despite being a B-side. The Beach Boys' version reached No. 8 as "Do You Wanna Dance?" in the United States in 1965, and a 1972 cover by Bette Midler ("Do You Want to Dance?") reached No. 17.
The Beach Boys' version of "Do You Wanna Dance?" was a single released through Capitol Records on February 15, 1965. It peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the highest charting Beach Boys song to feature Dennis Wilson on lead vocals.
