They call themselves the Strip-Tease des Sept Girls and played between 1995 and 96. Baker, who also played guitar in Toronto punk band Armed and Hammered, moved to San Francisco in 2000 and formed The Dirty Ghosts in 2006. I don’t know what happened to the rest of them.

The Pretty Ones, formed by Ed Pilling and Greg Godovitz. The band was briefly part of Toronto's Yorkville scene in the 1960s, but broke up before achieving much commercial success. Pilling and his brother Brian then moved to Birmingham, England, where they formed a band called Wages of Sin and spent some time touring as a backing band for Cat Stevens in 1970, but returned to Toronto by the end of that year. Inspired by the then-emerging psychedelic blues rock sound of British acts such as Small Faces, they then reunited with Godovitz, and recruited drummer John Andersen and guitarist Mick Walsh to create Fludd

Gordon Kenneth Fleming b. Winnipeg, MB on Aug. 3, 1931 / d. Toronto Aug. 31, 2002

Grew up in Winnipeg, playing night clubs and dances since the age of 5. During WWII he toured Canadian armed forces bases as a teen. He won the Canadian Jazz Poll four years in a row (1952-55) and placed second in the Metronome US Jazz Poll in 1955. Gordie, with the Canadian All Stars recorded a compilation in 1954 for US label "Discovery Records".

Relocated to Montreal in the early 60s and played with artists such as Edith Piaf, Felix Leclerc, Ginette Reno, and francophone country artist, Willie Lamothe. Gordie performed and recorded with Ti-Jean Carignan, The McGarrigles, Cat Stevens and Alan Mills (with whom he made several Folkways recordings). He moved to Toronto in 1977 and performed regularly at popular jazz spots such as Bourbon. St. and George’s Spaghetti House.

His daughter Heidi Fleming has been actively involved in the Montreal roots music scene.

Sighted at various folk festivals, the band was signed to Stan Rogers’ Fogertys Cove Records label and produced just this one album. Benoit Bourque, a veteran player from Quebec, is currently performing with La Bottine Souriante. This was the first album of traditional Quebecois folk music released to English Canadian audiences. Even the liner notes are bilingual.

Kevin was drawn to the Maritimes where he began his full time career as a songwriter, band leader and actor. It was there he recorded this, his first LP (No Frills). Kevin currently lives in the Kingston area, writing, performing and teaching, living rurally, planting trees, collecting old Volvos, and occasionally howling at the moon.

This was produced when Hervey was only 15. She was called the “Brenda Lee” of Canada. Born in 1947, she died in 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She made her first recordings for Art Snider’s Chateau Records in 1962 (as did Gordon Lightfoot two years earlier). As he did with Lightfoot, Snider took Hervey to Nashville, took her to meet Chet Atkins who was impressed enough to produce her. It was Atkins that got her the RCA recording contract. She won awards, like Top Country Female Artist, but couldn’t keep pace with the changes in pop music and retired in 1968, moving to Vancouver and getting into acting on TV.

Used her fathers last name Halliday (who played in Fletcher Hendersons jazz band).
Discovered by John Hammond Sr who recorded her (at 18) with Benny Goodmans band.
Years of drug abuse landed her in prison several times. Died in 1959 of cirrhosis.

Harvey Deveau - drummer in The Ferrari's Of Canada passed away at the age of 68 on August 4/2009 in Massachusetts.

Ralph Martinelli Jr. - lead guitar in The Ferraris Of Canada and was also an accomplished fiddle player and was awarded with many awards throughout his illustrious career. He was a seven time recipient of being named the top fiddle player in Massachusetts. He also received many awards from the Massachusetts Country Music Awards Association. Ralph passed away on August 6/2015 at the age of 79.

Edgar Fevens - guitar, harmonica and trumpet in The Ferraris Of Canada passed away on August 23/2015 at the age of 76 after a lengthy illness.

Skylark formed from the ashes of one of Ronnie Hawkins' many back-up groups.
The Writing’s On The Wall was actually the B side of Wildflower which went to No. 1 in Canada and made Billboard magazine's Top-10. The single would go on to sell over a million copies. The band featured some prime players including David Foster and Donny Gerrard who did backing vocal work for Elton John, John Fogerty and Donna Summer. Bonny Cook was married to Foster for several years and went on to write the lyrics to theme songs for the TV shows like 'Night Heat'

 In late 1982, Aaron flew to New York and posed topless for the men's magazine OUI. The magazine's March 1983 issue featured Aaron on the cover and in an interview. Aaron later concluded that posing for the magazine damaged her musical credibility; she regretted the decision and assigned blame for it to pressure from her manager.  Continues performing to this day
