In 1989, Celia was a member of a band called “Tarnished Gallahad”. They toured Ontario and Manitoba until they disbanded in 1996. That’s when Celia met guitarist and songwriter Mark Stewartson and formed the band Roundhouse. Invisible Inc. was then formed soon after and released a CD entitled Poor Folks Welcome (2000). Invisible Inc. played clubs in southern Ontario for several years and also embarked on a tour of the United Kingdom. The band broke up in 2001 and Celia went solo, releasing his first album Organica in 2002.

David Karl William Wilcox b. Montreal July 13, 1949

In the late 1960s, moved to Toronto and hung around Yorkville, befriending Rick Fielding and Andy Hermant and getting into a bluegrass group with them called The Gangrene Boys with Fielding, Andy Shaw and Randy Torno.

In 1970, Wilcox replaced Amos Garrett in Ian and Sylvia Tyson’s band, Great Speckled Bird.
In his solo career, he went on to release 9 albums between 1977 and 2015.

The Groovies began in 1965 by school friends and went from playing Kingston Trio songs to a Rolling Stones style band. They were signed to Epic Records in 1969 and got to open for The Stooges and Alice Cooper. Eventually they discovered what they called “power-pop” after working in the UK in the mid-70s. They were linked to the punk rock movement and took The Ramones over to England. One of the things that lead to the band’s break-up was covering Beatles’ songs but they covered them well.

The Rembetika Hipsters started as a duo of Nick Diochnos on bouzouki and Allen Baekeland on guitar.  Eventually the band expanded to half a dozen people. The Pegasus Restaurant in Calgary was their home bass. “We actually prefer playing on a small stage because it enables us to be relaxed and get to know the people a lot better,” said Allen Baekeland in the Vermilion Voice. They recorded three albums.

This was the misfit song from ELPs first album. They needed another song to complete the album so Greg Lake dug back into his vault and chose the first song that he wrote when he was only 12! He played guitar and bass to Carl Palmer’s drums but keyboardist Keith Emmerson didn’t know how to approach the song. That is why you don’t actually hear him until the song is half over. But it’s his solo at the end that made this song and ELP epic.

Eugene "Gene" Martynec (born 28 March 1947)

A guitarist in Toronto group Bobby Kris & The Imperials in August 1965. He left the group in May 1967 to form Kensington Market. He played acoustic guitar, bass and synthesizer on Lou Reed's 1973 album Berlin. As a record producer, he won the Juno Award for Producer of the Year in 1981 for his work on Bruce Cockburn's "Tokyo" and Rough Trade's "High School Confidential".

From Thunder Bay but based in Toronto, they lasted only a couple of years. They went from sappy country to psychedelic rock quite easily. They were billed as “The Contagious Sound Of The “PLAGUE”.” They wound their way to California and recorded this in LA. It was released on Crusader Records in the US and W&G down in Australia where it sold really well.

The opening to the track is actually Producer Dave Hassinger groaning through a mike, into the tremolo of a Fender amp. They went on to record 2 albums of psychedelic rock and basically broke up in 1968. However, Hassinger put out two more albums under the Prunes name: Mass in E Minor and Release of an Oath (Kol Nidre) using studio musicians including Vancouver based band The Collectors.
